Want To Host OACAC Conference in 2010?

The Executive Board is now encouraging colleges and universities to bid to hold the ever more popular 2010 OACAC Annual Conference on their campus. Click here to download the 2010 proposal form. The 2008 Summer Conference Was A Great Success

We hope you had an enjoyable and educational experience. Thanks again to Michigan State University and to all of the people who assisted with the organization and presentations.

Each year we seek feedback so that we can make the next conference even better. Please check your registered email address (or request for a re-send if you can't find it) for the link to the conference feedback survey.

On the last page of the survey, you will find instructions on how to download the list of this year's participants along with their contact information. Additionally, login to the member's section of the OACAC website or click here to download the presentations and/or handouts from this year's sessions.

Next yearÕs conference will be July 16 to 18 at Chapman University in California. See you there!

Chapman University to Host Summer Conference 2009

The OACAC Executive Board is pleased to announce that Chapman University, in Orange California, has been selected to host the OACAC Summer Conference in 2009. Additionally, the Board wishes to thank the colleges and universities who submitted such thoughtful proposals

Submit Articles for our Newsletter!

Our first two issues of our revived newsletter proved to be hugely popular last year. We hope to publish our next addition in early Sept and we need your help.  We encourage you to submit articles for inclusion in this next edition. The ‘theme’ of the next issue will be “Transitions”. Had recent changes to your guidance program? Recently changed jobs and have advice for others going through such a transition? Experiences from your students about transitions they have made? Want to share information about how you help students make transitions to or from your school?  Please take some time to think what you have to share. It is the contributions from members like yourself that make the newsletter worthwhile. Also, please let us know if you have moved jobs, or if someone is joining your counseling so we can include it in our “     “ section. Do you have upcoming job openings? Let us know so we can post it on our in our newsletter and in our “Job Board” section of our website.
